airplayer : Command-line AirPlay video client for Apple TV

This is a command-line AirPlay client which you can use with your Apple TV. The AirPlay Mirroring feature in OS X has’nt worked reliably for me, so this is a very handy workaround which initiates the streaming of MP4 format files via the command-line.

This software has been tested on OS X 10.11.2. I’ve requested a couple of additional features, pause/resume streaming and play by time index.

Due to Apple TV’s specification, only a very few limited file formats are supported, and AVI is not one of those, so transcode those files using ffmpeg.
